Sync My Watch (syncmywatch.com) shows the current time and general information about setting mechanical watches. Using the site means you accept these terms. If you don't, please don't use it.

The time shown

The time comes from Amazon Web Services edge servers and is computed in your browser, as described on the home page. We work to make it accurate, and the page tells you how confident it is, but it is provided as is. Do not rely on it where an inaccurate time could cause harm or loss, such as legal or contractual deadlines, financial trading, medical, aviation, or other safety-critical timing. If the page cannot reach a time server it says so and shows your device's clock instead, which may be wrong.

Time zone names, offsets and daylight saving rules come from your browser's built-in database, which can be out of date on some devices. The offset shown next to the zone lets you check it.

Advice about watches

The cautions and hints are general information gathered to the best of our knowledge, including windows during which manufacturers say the date should not be set. They are not professional advice and they do not replace your watch's manual. Manufacturer instructions always take precedence. You set, wind and adjust your watch at your own risk, and we are not responsible for damage to a watch or its movement.

No warranty and limitation of liability

The site is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of this site is not liable for any loss or damage arising from its use or from reliance on anything shown on it.

Using the site

Please don't overload the site with automated requests or attempt to interfere with it. Names of watch brands and movements appear only to identify their published guidance and remain the property of their owners; this site is not affiliated with or endorsed by any watch manufacturer.
